Loïc Desgeorges
Associate Professor (Maître de conférences)
I am an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department of Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and a member of the LIP laboratory (Laboratoire de l'Informatique du Parallélisme).
Research
My research is carried out at LIP, in the HoWNeT team. My main topics are:
- Security of SDN control: introducing security into the SDN Controller Placement Problem, in particular for O-RAN architectures.
- Observation of SDN control: monitoring the decisions of the controller in order to detect anomalies.
- Privacy of geolocation systems.
- Optimization in wireless networks: energy saving through Target Wake Time (TWT), and control of a drone fleet using reinforcement learning.
More details on the research page.
Teaching
I teach in the Computer Science Department of Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, from the first year of the Bachelor's degree (L1) to the second year of the Master's degree (M2). More information, together with course material, is available on the teaching page.
